In-press with Cognella Academic Publishing, this interactive textbook will provide guidance and a foundational understanding of ethical decision-making and issues for future sport managers. Co-authored and directed by Professor Elliot and Siegrist, this textbook is projected to publish Fall 2023.

Under the supervision and mentorship of WMU Associate AD/Senior Women's Administrator Keanah Smith, Tess learned the external and internal operations of an athletic department for the 2021-2022 school year through various hands-on projects and events. Working alongside WMU and Mid-American Conference administration and subcommittee members allowed involvement and insight into numerous planning boards related to DEI events and concerns. Additionally, obtaining experience in fan engagement, marketing and media, production, and administration assisted in enhancing communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Player Personnel and Development/Operations Intern
During the summer of 2023,Tess worked under Kevin Cristello, Director of Football Operations, and Paul Ressa, Director of Player Personnel, for Coastal Football. Assisting in recruiting, team operations, and player personnel, she gained practical experience within a collegiate football environment.
